The Second coming

I want to start this post with these interesting and insightful, yet controversial, thoughts from Alvin Boyd Khun’s essay, Platonic Philosophy in the Bible, he said, “In the nailing of a personal Jesus on a wooden cross Christianity reduced the glorious drama of the spiritual life to its grossest and most repellent form… The human soul is itself bound on the cross of gross superstition so long as these crude notions dominate the conscious and subconscious thought of modern man. The light of the true spiritual Gnosis of olden times must be cast into the dark nooks and corners of modern thinking, and disperse the mists of such errant and arrant doctrinism… The composers of ancient scriptures were poets, allegorist, dramatists and mythicists. They never wrote literally. They were in the line of generations of sages and seers who had developed the art of spiritual representation to a point of the utmost ingenuity and complexity, completely shrouding the intended real meaning under veils of symbolism, which have utterly misled modern scholars who could not pierce the outer veil to read the truth hidden underneath. Hence the works cannot be read without the keys to the myths and reference to the symbols used.” I think it is clear that I am not referring to the literal return of Jesus Christ to the Earth when I reference the 'Second Coming'. I too think this concept of a ‘Savior’ for mankind is a dangerous misrepresentation of the truth, a deception that has lasted nearly 2000 years with no end in sight to this trickery. We should not be looking for a redeemer outside of ourselves, someone to come and rescue humanity from the conditions we have collectively created, or to save this planet from self-destruction. If you are waiting for a ‘Savior’ to come and bring the changes you wish to see in the world then you will never fully reach your own Divine potential in this lifetime. You are giving your marvelous power away to a collective dream. I believe that this is exactly what the many sects of Christianity want, and need, us to do. If we give the churches our power then they will have total control over us and our children. Religion is a big business! I’m saying take back your power! I want you to grasp how amazing, and significant, you really are; and to realize, the kingdom of heaven is truly within you.

         

The Second Coming of Christ to me means the revitalization, or rather the remembering, of the Sacred Self, the Cosmic Christ Consciousness, within each of us, that which I call our 'Sacred Light'. An awakening to the truth of who we really are is what I would call the 'Second Coming', and it is happening as more and more people are attaining this awareness. I read somewhere in my research that whenever you hear or read anything of a spiritual nature that moves you, or touches your Soul, you are not learning something new, but rather you are remembering what you have always known, but just forgot for a little while. The 'Second Coming' is a gentle awakening to the truth of who you are. That is what it felt like for me; it was as if I was remembering something I had long ago forgotten, but which was truly the most important part of 'me'. It was amazingly beautiful to ‘wake up’. Let’s assume for a moment that Jesus lived and died as it is stated in the scriptures. His words are an inspiration to millions of people. His true message is that we can all live a Divine Life just as he did. This means through profound, mystical contemplation, (the highest form of prayer), deep meditation, and the passionate persistence of cleaning out our emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical 'trash', we can clearly connect directly to the Cosmic Consciousness, or rather, the Infinite Intelligence, through the Cosmic Christ Consciousness within us, our Sacred Light, just as Jesus is said to have done. This is how we come to have a personal relationship with the impersonal Universal Consciousness, or "God"; thru the Cosmic Christ Consciousness within us. In Alvin Boyd Khun’s work The Root of All Religion, he claims, “The ancients spoke of the Messiah, not as he who was born once in history, but as ‘he who comes regularly and continuously,’ or in another phrase, ‘he who comes periodically.’ Christian ideology should well consider these phrases, for they state the forgotten truth of theology. The coming of Christ is to be thought of as the gradual growth of an element or faculty of consciousness, and as taking place over the whole extent of the human aeon. He comes during the whole continuance of the cycle, a little at a time, a little each day, year, incarnation… The greatest single truth that a mortal man can realize is that his animal body is the matrix in which the Christ is being gestated for its Easter delivery. Humanity is mother to deity.” Deepak Chopra put it this way, he said, “You must learn to get in touch with the innermost essence of your being. This true essence is beyond the ego. It is fearless; it is free; it is immune to criticism; it does not fear any challenge. It is beneath no one, superior to no one, and full of magic, mystery, and enchantment”. That is our Cosmic Christ Consciousness, our Sacred Self, our Sacred Light, our true essence that we are here to actualize, and give birth to; and, when we finally do welcome in the Cosmic Christ Consciousness into our hearts we will experience the 'Second Coming' for ourselves in the most real way possible. 

         

Realizing that you are not the body, or the mind, but something much greater is the marvelous awakening to the truth of who you are, which is ultimately, the Second Coming of Christ, the realization of the Christ Consciousness within you. The Second Coming is the comprehension that you are truly Cosmic Christ Consciousness; the realization that you are simply and purely Sacred Light; and, the understanding that you co-create your life with this amazing God-like  Consciousness within you. This remembering is the definitive source of your power! It is time to become conscious of your Sacred Light. It is time to let your Sacred Light shine! It is time for the Second Coming! This is the lesson we are here to comprehend. Be still, and know you are as God created you to be, which is perfect, whole, and complete exactly as you are. You are the pearl of great price. You are the Kingdom of God. You are the shimmering Sacred Light of Source! You are one with the Creator; the bottom line, you are a beautiful Spiritual being of Light, which makes you unbelievably powerful! Matthew 7:7-12 states, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or, if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them…”. If you truly comprehend these beautiful words then you truly grasp and appreciate your Life! The life that you were created to live is in the palm of your hand. The gift of awakening is all power under Heaven and Earth, to walk in time as the timeless, to abide as this body-mind, yet know you are pure Spirit, pure Sacred Light, and pure Divine Love. This is the end of all seeking, going from the lost to the found. Living in the Kingdom of God means listening only for the voice of Love, which is your true Sacred Self. It means letting your Sacred Light lead you! Seek ye first the Kingdom of God within, from this place, you can have, be, and do anything you righteously desire. Then, your single aspiration will be to extend the Love and Light that you are to others, and to be in genuine service to all, a true Mystic!

This is being ‘born again’, a radical change of heart, Metanoia. It is being in the world, but not of it. It is living as the Sacred Light that you are and always have been. It is the glorious Second Coming. It is the dissolving of the illusion, or of the rainbow. It is bringing the many colors back together into the one Sacred White Light of Source. How beautiful the magnificent Second Coming is, and will continue to be, when the world wakes up from this joint hallucination!
